Base Malt
Pale Ale Malt
Colour: 4.8-5.4 EBC
Best for: Ales, IPAs
Pale Ale Malt is suited to pale ales, IPAs, and darker ale styles, offering a richer malt character with biscuit and light caramel notes while maintaining high extract and reliable processing performance.
Kilned at slightly higher temperatures than Pilsner malt, SKY Pale Ale malt develops a deeper colour and a more expressive flavour profile, with notes of biscuit and light caramel. It maintains high extract yield and reliable enzymatic strength, supporting efficient conversion.
It contributes increased body and fullness while ensuring stable brewhouse performance. Suitable for use as a full base malt, it provides structure and balance in ales, IPAs, porters, and stouts, particularly in hop-forward or higher-gravity beers.
