SkyFine AUX

SkyFine AUX is an auxiliary fining agent designed to be used in conjunction with isinglass or vegan finings. It is formulated to enhance the performance of the primary fining by targeting haze-forming proteins that would otherwise remain in suspension.

This product works by imparting a negative charge onto suspended proteins, making them available for removal alongside yeast when the subsequent isinglass or vegan fining is added. The result is a more efficient clarification process: reduced load on the primary fining, faster sedimentation, a more compact sediment, lower beer losses, and improved filterability. Conditioning time is reduced, contributing to energy and time savings in the brewery.

SkyFine Aux is vegan-friendly and suitable for use across all beer types and styles. It can be dosed directly into the fermentation vessel at the end of fermentation, into the conditioning tank, or directly into the cask. As with all finings, dosage rates should be optimised regularly to maintain peak performance.

SkyFine Aux is suitable for:

• Use alongside isinglass finings (SkyFine RTU, SkyFine Conc)
• Use alongside vegan finings (SkySol)
• Cask-conditioned beer clarification
• Brewery-conditioned beer clarification
• Reducing conditioning time and energy use
• Improving beer filterability
• All beer styles and types

SkyFine Aux is considered a low-hazard material under normal conditions of use.

• Not classified as hazardous under CLP regulations
• May cause mild irritation to eyes on direct contact
• May cause mild irritation to skin on prolonged contact
• Inhalation of mist or aerosol should be avoided

Safety precautions:

• Wear appropriate eye protection and gloves
• Avoid generating mists or aerosols
• Use in well-ventilated areas
• Follow general industrial hygiene practices

Handling and Storage:

• Store in original container at 10–20°C, below 20°C
• Keep away from direct sunlight
• Do not allow to freeze
• Use within 6 months of date of manufacture
• Keep container tightly closed when not in use
• Use appropriate protective equipment during handling
