Isinglass Finings
SkyFine RTU
SkyFine RTU is a ready-to-use isinglass finings solution derived from fish swim bladders. It promotes rapid yeast sedimentation in cask and brewery-conditioned beers, delivering faster clarification, improved filtration efficiency, and enhanced foam stability with no dilution required.
SkyFine RTU is a traditional isinglass finings solution prepared from selected fish swim bladders, supplied ready-to-use for direct addition to cask-conditioned and brewery-conditioned beers. It is designed to assist with yeast removal and accelerate beer clarification at the conditioning stage.
This product works by carrying a positive charge that attracts negatively charged yeast cells, binding them into larger flocs that settle rapidly to the bottom of the vessel. The result is faster clarification, reduced conditioning time, improved filtration efficiency, and a positive contribution to foam stability in the finished beer. SkyFine RTU also helps reduce residual protein and lipid levels, supporting overall beer quality.
SkyFine RTU is suitable for both cask-conditioned ales and brewery-conditioned beers. For optimum performance in cask, it should be used in conjunction with SkyFine Aux auxiliary finings. As with all isinglass-based products, the optimum dosage depends on beer recipe, yeast cell count, and yeast type, and is best established through a finings optimisation trial.
