Caustic Cleaner
Caustic Pearl
Caustic Pearl is a solid caustic cleaner in pearl form for brewery CIP, used to prepare alkaline cleaning solutions for removal of proteins, starch and organic build-up across vessels and pipework. It can be paired with a sequestrant where water hardness is a factor.
Caustic Pearl is high-purity solid sodium hydroxide in pearl form, used to prepare alkaline cleaning solutions for brewery CIP. Once dissolved in water, it provides strong removal of proteins, starch, fats and organic residues across brewhouse vessels, fermenters and pipework.
Supplied in solid form, it offers flexibility in dosing and is suited to operations that prefer to build and control their own caustic solutions. In soft water conditions it can be used as a standalone cleaner; in harder water, it is typically paired with a sequestrant to maintain performance and prevent interference from calcium and magnesium ions.
Used at the correct concentration and temperature, Caustic Pearl delivers consistent, effective cleaning as part of a standard CIP programme.
Caustic Pearl is used to prepare alkaline cleaning solutions for removal of proteins, starch and organic build-up, and is suitable for use in:
- Brewhouse CIP (mash tun, lauter tun, kettle)
- Fermentation vessels and conditioning tanks
- Pipework and heat exchangers
- Soak baths for fittings and removable parts
- General CIP systems across brewery operations
