Brewhouses
Craft Brewery
The Craft Brewery range is a professional, skid-mounted brewhouse engineered for consistent, high-volume wort production. Built from 304 stainless steel with a 2B internal finish, the system is designed for durability, hygiene and ease of operation — equally at home in a production brewery or a front-of-house setting.
Available from 10 to 35 hectolitres and in two, three or four vessel configurations, the range scales to suit your output requirements and process ambitions. Whether you're brewing once or twice a day on a compact two-vessel system, or cycling rapid back-to-back batches on a four-vessel setup, there is a configuration to match.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
Process Description
Grain is mixed in the hydrator with water at precise temperature and volume, controlled via the hot liquor mixing valve and aided by the raking system. This delivers accurate mash temperatures and liquor-to-grist ratios for a predictable, repeatable wort.
In the two and three vessel configurations, mashing and lautering take place in a combined vessel. The four vessel system adds a dedicated mash conversion vessel with heating jackets and a malt impeller, enabling stepped mashing, improved protein handling and more precise fermentability control. In all configurations, the converted mash is extracted through laser-cut plates and underback, with the grain sparged via a ring sparge to recover available sugars.
The wort is boiled in the kettle to extract bitterness from hops, sterilise, coagulate protein and drive off undesirable volatiles. In the two vessel system, whirlpooling takes place within the kettle itself. The three and four vessel configurations add a dedicated whirlpool vessel, shortening kettle occupation time and allowing more rapid batch cycling. In the four vessel system, with a honed process, mash-in every four hours should be achievable.
Once settled, the wort is drawn off through a plate heat exchanger to pitching temperature, oxygenated, and transferred to fermentation.
Build Quality & Reliability
-
01
Professional-grade finish
High quality polished stainless steel with a smooth 2B internal finish for easy, effective cleaning. The exterior is finished for practical use and front-of-house appeal.
-
02
Effective pipework
Correctly calculated pipe diameters aid process control throughout, with no dead legs or unnecessary complications for easy cleaning and operation.
-
03
Trusted components
Internationally recognised sensors and components deliver operational resilience and straightforward access for maintenance.
Process Control & Results
-
04
Repeatable results
Precise control of water volumes and temperatures delivers the accurate, consistent wort needed for professional-quality beer, every time.
-
05
Rapid batch cycling
The addition of a dedicated whirlpool vessel (3 and 4 vessel) shortens kettle occupation time significantly. The four vessel system further reduces lauter occupation, enabling a mash-in cadence of approximately every four hours.
-
06
Easy grain handling
Dig-out plough and underplate CIP enable thorough cleaning with minimal labour and no disassembly.
Available configurations
-
Two Vessel System
A combined mash/lauter tun and kettle whirlpool on a single skid. The most straightforward and cost-effective entry into the Craft Brewery range, designed for one to two brews per day. Whirlpooling takes place within the kettle, keeping the vessel count and footprint to a minimum while delivering a fully capable wort production system.
-
Three Vessel System
A combined mash/lauter tun, dedicated kettle and dedicated whirlpool vessel. The separation of the whirlpool from the kettle frees the kettle for the next boil while hops and solids settle, shortening overall cycle time and increasing daily output potential. Includes twin lauter sight glasses for monitoring pressure differential during run-off, and a wort splash plate for more effective volatile removal.
-
Four Vessel System
A dedicated mash conversion vessel, lauter tun, kettle and whirlpool vessel. The addition of a steam-heated MCV with heating jackets and malt impeller enables stepped mashing, improved protein handling and precise fermentability control — opening up a wider range of beer styles and improved extract efficiency. With each vessel freed to operate independently, and a honed process, a mash-in cadence of approximately every four hours is achievable.
