CIP
Auto CIP Station
The Auto CIP Station is a fixed, automated clean-in-place system for targeted cleaning of tanks, pipework, filling machines, and other production equipment. It is designed for breweries and beverage plants that require programmable, repeatable cleaning across multiple circuits with reduced operator intervention.
Cleaning parameters including time, temperature, flow rate, pressure, pH, and conductivity can be configured around the process requirement. The system is supplied as a pre-assembled unit with stainless steel tanks, pumps, valve manifolds, dosing equipment, heat exchanger, instrumentation, PLC, and HMI control.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
System Configuration and Control
The automated CIP station is configured as a modular skid incorporating dedicated tanks for rinse, caustic, acid, steriliser, and recovery, sanitary piping manifolds with automated valve control, and integrated supply and return pump sets. The system includes a plate heat exchanger for solution heating and chemical dosing via metered pumps, with all wetted parts manufactured in SS316L or SS304 for hygienic operation and durability.
Full instrumentation is provided for process monitoring, including temperature, flow, conductivity, pH, level, and pressure measurement. Operation is controlled via a PLC with HMI interface, enabling fully automatic cycle execution, recipe management, alarm handling, and optional remote monitoring to ensure consistent and reliable CIP performance.
Automation & Control
-
01
Programmable Cleaning
Cleaning loops and process steps can be selected through the HMI, allowing repeatable programmes for different tanks, pipework sections, or production equipment.
-
02
Parameter Monitoring
Flow, temperature, pressure, pH, conductivity, and tank level instrumentation give operators better visibility over cleaning performance and chemical condition.
-
03
Reduced Manual Error
Automated valve routing and recipe-based operation reduce reliance on manual valve changes, helping prevent missed steps or incorrect chemical routing.
Hygiene & Resource Management
-
04
Multi-Circuit Cleaning
Designed for fixed installations with several cleaning circuits, allowing efficient management of larger production areas from one central CIP station.
-
05
Chemical Recovery
Recovery tanks and return circuits allow suitable cleaning solutions to be recaptured and reused, reducing chemical loss and operating cost.
-
06
Integrated Dosing and Heating
Chemical dosing and plate heat exchanger heating support controlled caustic, acid, and sanitiser preparation within the system.
Available configurations
-
Three-Tank CIP Station
Typical compact automated configuration using rinse water, caustic, and sanitiser or acid tanks for essential brewery and beverage cleaning routines.
-
Four-Tank CIP Station
Adds an additional tank for acid, recovery, or dedicated sterilant, supporting more complete cleaning programmes and better chemical segregation.
-
Five-Tank CIP Station
Full automated configuration with water, caustic, acid, steriliser, and recovery tanks for larger multi-loop production installations.
-
Custom Automated CIP System
Built around the site’s process layout, number of tanks, filling equipment, cleaning loops, required dosing points, and automation level.
