Keg Equipment
Keg Washer
Throughput: 30-40 kegs/h
The Keg Washer is a two-station, fully automatic keg cleaning unit for breweries using Euro or US standard kegs from 10 L to 60 L. Kegs are loaded manually, after which the connector locks the spear and the cleaning programme runs automatically.
The machine uses two independent cleaning stations, SS304 cleaning tanks, centrifugal pumps, high- and low-pressure pulsed valves, and Siemens PLC control. Heating is available by steam or electric element, and spear type can be configured to order.
Cleaning Performance
-
01
Two Independent Stations
Both stations operate simultaneously, increasing cleaning output while keeping the machine compact for smaller brewery packaging areas.
-
02
Pulsed Valve Cleaning
High- and low-pressure pulsed valves improve cleaning of keg stems and internal surfaces, supporting more reliable keg preparation.
-
03
Steam or Chemical Sanitisation
Two cleaning programme options allow breweries to choose steam sterilisation or chemical sanitation depending on utilities and process preference.
Available configurations
-
Steam Sterilisation Programme
Cleaning sequence using rinse, caustic wash, hot water rinse, steam sterilisation, and CO₂ counter-pressure preparation.
-
Electric Heating Configuration
Self-contained heating option using electric elements, suited to sites without a suitable steam supply.
-
Steam Heating Configuration
Utility-efficient configuration for breweries with available steam, reducing electrical heating demand during keg cleaning.
